shaping a better future,
one night at a time
our mission
Embracing sustainability and ESG principles goes far beyond responsible sourcing, it touches every aspect of what we do. From production methods and material innovation to ethical partnerships and community investment, our commitment to sustainability is embedded in every step of our process.
We take a holistic approach that aims to preserve resources, reduces waste, and supports responsible business practices, ensuring the sleep solutions we deliver today contribute to a better world tomorrow.
proud to be a certified B Corporation™
We are now officially a Certified B Corporation™ – meeting rigorous, global standards for how we treat people, protect the planet, and run our business responsibly.
Joining the B Corp community means balancing purpose with profit, putting long-term impact ahead of short-term gain. For our partners, it’s reassurance of a trusted, transparent supplier. For guests, it means a cleaner, healthier sleep environment and the confidence that their stay supports a business doing the right thing.
And best of all, this isn’t a change in direction. B Corp certification recognises the positive work we’ve already been doing – independently verified and built into every bed we make.
ecovadis recognition for ethical and sustainable practice
We’re proud to hold an EcoVadis Bronze Medal, recognising our commitment to responsible business, environmental performance, and social value.
We align closely with the Hospitality Alliance for Responsible Procurement (HARP), helping to drive positive change across the hospitality sector.
When you partner with us, you choose a supplier that doesn’t just meet sustainability standards — we help shape them.
commitments and recognition
clear and credible carbon transparency through product passports
Our Carbon Passports provide verified product-specific footprint data using lifecycle analysis and the EcoInvent database, independently validated by sustainability experts Oakdene Hollins. Because meaningful progress starts with credible data.
reducing waste through smarter, lower-impact design
Sustainability starts with design. Our engineered, zoned spring systems reduce materials without compromising comfort, durability, or safety.
Every mattress is built with end-of-life recycling in mind for easier disassembly and reduced waste.
Our Comfort Breathe Fibres™ — made from recycled materials — reuse the equivalent of 105 million plastic bottles each year, delivering breathable, comfortable, and more sustainable sleep.
responsible sourcing of high-performance materials
We prioritise local suppliers near our Lancashire factory to lower carbon miles and support UK manufacturing.
Our responsibly chosen materials include GRS-certified recycled polyester fibres, recycled content in pocket springs, and FSC®-certified timber compliant with UKTR/EUTR.
We use 100% recycled corrugated packaging, and fabrics that carry OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and STeP by OEKO-TEX® certifications.
Every sourcing decision supports a more sustainable, circular supply chain.
investing in our communities, locally and nationally
We invest in initiatives that improve wellbeing through better sleep and meaningful community support.
Locally, we back Barnoldswick organisations including Barnoldswick Town FC, grassroots sport, and Pendleside Hospice.
Nationally, we support The Furniture Makers’ Company and charities such as Zarach and The Sleep Charity, helping to provide beds for families in hardship and improve life chances through quality sleep.
